Established in 2025 by Health Professionals Bank, a division of Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, this scholarship provides financial support to Allied Healthcare students who may require assistance in overcoming barriers to their studies.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria:
- Citizenship: domestic
- Year level: enrolled in your second year of course as of Semester 1, 2026
- Course: any of the following Allied Health Courses:
- BHS: Bachelor of Human Services
- BOCCTH: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- BOCTHN: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)
- BPHYSI: Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- BPHYSN: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
- BSPPHN: Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours)
- BSPPTH: Bachelor of Speech Pathology
- BSWKHN: Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)
- BSWKN: Bachelor of Social Work
Application process
Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
- A written statement* of approximately 250 words outlining:
- Why you have chosen to pursue a career in allied health,
- Any barriers you have overcome in accessing higher education,
- How this scholarship will assist you.
*Statements are assessed on content, not language skills. If you access assistance from advisors, tutors or AI technology to complete your personal statement, please ensure that your submission accurately reflects your personal situation with regards to the criteria.

Selection process
Recipients will be selected by the Scholarships Office.
Ongoing requirements
To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain the following each semester for the duration of the scholarship:
- Minimum Pass grade for at least two-thirds of enrolled credit points.
- Enrolment in the same course under which the scholarship is awarded.
Other
Recipients will be requested to submit an impact statement for the donor explaining how the scholarship has assisted them. The Statement should be submitted to the ACU Scholarships Office no later than 1 October in the year the scholarship is awarded.
