The Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (Indigenous-CAS) are intended to assist with accommodation costs.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria (or will do by the application close date):
- Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students (Confirmation of Aboriginality will be required)
- Enrolled in Semester 1, 2024
- Course: any undergraduate ACU course as a Commonwealth supported student
- Year level: must not have completed a course of study equivalent to, or higher than, an Australian bachelors award unless that award is a prerequisite to your current course of study.
- Study load: full-time (exceptional circumstances maybe considered for part-time study)
- Rural or regional background
- Financial hardship
- Campus: any (on campus)
- Have incurred additional accommodation costs as a result of the necessity to move.
- Recipients are not entitled to receive this scholarship in conjunction with the ACU Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Accommodation Scholarship or the Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship.

The University Admission Centre (UAC) process all applications for this scholarship. Students located in any Australian state should follow the UAC application process. There is no fee for submitting a scholarship application through UAC.

Selection criteria
Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:
- Financial hardship
- Priority is given to regional and remote applicants
Selection process
The recipients will be selected based on UAC's assessments and in consultation with First Peoples Directorate.
Ongoing requirements
To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain the following each semester for the duration of the scholarship:
- Satisfactory academic progress
- A full-time study load
