Eligibility
This grant is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria:
- Citizenship: domestic
- Study load: enrolment in Semester 2, 2024
- Undertaking a placement in Semester 2, 2024
- Course: an undergraduate degree in: Nursing, Midwifery or Paramedicine (includes double degrees and honours)
- Are a single parent
- Financial hardship
Application process
Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
- A written *statement of approximately 200 words outlining:
- The financial challenges you foresee of undertaking placement while being a single parent
- How this payment can contribute toward these challenges
- Details of placement location and duration
- A statutory declaration confirming that you are a single parent with financial hardship
