The Pratt Foundation Scholarship was created in 2004 by the Pratt Foundation which was established by philanthropists Richard and Jeanne Pratt.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria, as of the scholarship application closing date:
- Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students (Confirmation of Aboriginality will be required)
- Course: Any ACU postgraduate degree
- Enrolment in Semester 1, 2025
Application process
Please provide the following as part of the application:
- A written statement* of approximately 200 words outlining:
- Why you have chosen to undertake your degree, and what you hope to achieve with it in the future
- How obtaining your degree will allow you to give back to the Indigenous community.
- Letter of recommendation (Academic)
- Letter of recommendation (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community) outlining the applicant's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage and/or involvement in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
- Upload Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status (for more information on this requirement please visit, COA)

Selection process
Recipients will be selected by the Scholarships Office, in consultation with the First Peoples and Equity Pathways Directorate.
Other
Recipients will be requested to submit an Impact Statement for the donor explaining how the scholarship has assisted them. This should be submitted to the ACU Scholarships Office no later than 1 October in the year the scholarship is awarded.
