About this scholarship
Brothers Rugby Club Sydney was established in 1947 by the Old Boys of St Pius X College (formerly named Christian Brothers College Chatswood). The amateur rugby club is based at Roseville Chase in Sydney’s north and provides an outlet for players of all abilities to enjoy the comradery of team sports and play for the love of the game.
This Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students at ACU who play rugby for Brothers Rugby Sydney.

- This scholarship is valued at $1,500 to be paid in one lump sum.
- There are two scholarships available: One for a male player, one for a female player.

Eligibility
Applications are open to those who meet all the following criteria:
- Campus: Blacktown, Strathfield and North Sydney
- Course: Undergraduate degree for male applicants; Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree for female applicants.
- Commenced ACU course in Semester 1, 2025 or prior.
- Minimum GPA: 4
- Male applicants: playing for Brothers Rugby Sydney in the Under 21s as of January the year they are playing
- Female applicants: playing for Brothers Rugby Sydney in any age group.

Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:
- Rugby playing history
- Community volunteering history
- What the applicant intends to do with the scholarship
Selection process
Applications will be assessed by a selection committee comprised of Brothers Rugby Club Sydney representatives and an ACU Sport staff member.
