The Executive Dean’s International Scholarship supports commencing undergraduate and postgraduate international students as they begin their studies at ACU, recognising their potential and commitment to achieving their educational goals.

This scholarship provides a reduction in course fees per semester for the minimum CRICOS-registered duration of the course, as follows:

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to applicants who will meet all of the following criteria:

  • Intake: commencing 2027
  • Citizenship: international students who are nationals of Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, South Korea, and Taiwan.
  • Applicants must meet all admission, visa, and compliance requirements of the University and the Australian Government, including sanctions screening requirements where applicable.
  • Faculties: Education and Arts, Law and Business, Health Science, Human and Digital Futures.
  • Course: 
    • Faculty of Education and Arts: All Arts Diploma, Bachelor (except one year Honours courses), and Masters (coursework)
    • Faculty of Education and Arts: All Education/Teaching Diploma, Bachelor (except one year Honours courses), and Masters (coursework)
    • Faculty of Law and Business: Bachelor (except one year Honours courses), and Masters (coursework)
    • Faculty of Human and Digital Futures
      • Bachelor of Computer Science
      • Bachelor of Computer Science/Master of Data Science 
    • Faculty of Health Science: Bachelor (except one year Honours courses), and Masters (coursework) except excluded courses:
      • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
      • Bachelor of Physiotherapy
      • Bachelor of Speech Pathology

  • Campus: any Australian campus, except online
  • Have completed an assessable qualification that meets the academic entry requirements for their chosen ACU program.
  • Must not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student
  • Recipients are not eligible to receive this scholarship in conjunction with the ACU Global Horizons International ScholarshipACU Flourishing Lives Scholarship or the ACU Health Sciences Towards Brisbane 2032 Scholarship. Successful applicants of more than one of these scholarships will be offered the scholarship of greater value. 


Application process

As part of the admissions process to study at ACU, applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship and advised if they are eligible. 


Selection criteria

Selection is based on academic merit.


Selection process

Recipients will be selected by Global Engagement, ACU.


Ongoing requirements

To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain the following each semester for the duration of the scholarship:

  • Remain enrolled in the same course under which the scholarship was received
  • Must pay required tuition fees by relevant due dates
  • Must agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.

Note: scholarship recipients will remain eligible up to the minimum CRICOS registered duration of their course.
