ACU Flourishing Lives International Scholarship
About this scholarship
The Flourishing Lives International Scholarships offer tuition fee reductions for commencing undergraduate and postgraduate international students who are nationals of the Pacific, Timor Leste, and Latin America, as well as those from select mission aligned institutions and sponsors as determined by Australian Catholic University.

The scholarship value is equivalent to 20% of the tuition fee, for the minimum registered CRICOS duration of the enrolled course (inclusive of RPL/Credit).

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who will meet all of the following criteria:
- Citizenship: international students
- Applicants must meet either the Nationality Requirement or the Institutional or Sponsorship Affiliation, as detailed:
- Nationality Requirement - Be a national of one of the following regions:
- Pacific Islands and Timor Leste, including:
Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, or - Latin America, including:
Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, St. Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela
- Pacific Islands and Timor Leste, including:
- Institutional or Sponsorship Affiliation - must either:
- be currently enrolled at an institution with a demonstrated alignment to the University’s values, as determined by Australian Catholic University, or
- be supported by a sponsor or organisation recognised by the University for its contribution to shared educational or development goals, as determined by Australian Catholic University.
- Nationality Requirement - Be a national of one of the following regions:
All applicants will automatically be assessed for eligibility under this criterion at the time of application by the University’s Admissions Team.
- Course: all ACU coursework programs except the following excluded courses:
Diploma in Biomedical Science, Diploma in Business, Diploma in Criminology, Diploma in Exercise Science, Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Nutrition Science, Foundation Studies, Tertiary Preparation Program (Health Sciences), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Master of Dietetic Practice, Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Master of Psychology (Clinical), Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental), Master of Professional Psychology, all one year honours courses, and all Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma Courses.
- Campus: any Australian campus, except online
- Must not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student
- Recipients are not eligible to receive this scholarship in conjunction with the ACU Executive Dean’s International Scholarship or the ACU International Launch Scholarship. Successful applicants of more than one of these scholarships will be offered the scholarship of greater value.
Application process
As part of the admissions process to study at ACU, applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship and advised if they are eligible.
As part of the application process, applicants will be required to provide evidence of academic merit, showing achievement equivalent to a GPA 5.5 on the ACU 7-point scale across their most recent program of study. Academic records must include original language documents, translations, where applicable, and official explanation of grading system.

Selection process
Recipients will be selected by Global and Education Pathways, ACU.
Ongoing requirements
To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain the following each semester for the duration of the scholarship:
- Remain enrolled in the same course under which the scholarship was received
- Must pay required tuition fees by relevant due dates
- Must agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.
Note:
- Scholarship recipients will remain eligible up to the minimum CRICOS registered duration of their course
- The Scholarship remains valid for students on an approved Leave of Absence for up to 12 months.
